She was predeceased by: her parents, Heinz Christian Paul Benthien and Elfriede Ingeborg Hoffmann. She is survived by: her husband Joseph Schneider; her children, Joshua (Pia), Monika (Michael) and Crystal (Joseph); her grandchildren, Tahlia, Summer, Christopher, Maelie, Jaxson, Colt, Caleb, Carson and Braydon; her sister Gaby (Hans-Peter); and her pets, Peppeloni and Rocky.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 23rd 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. (500 State St, Carthage, NY 13619). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of the Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 24th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Carthage American Legion (415 West St, Carthage, NY 13619).
