It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Laura M. Prievo of Carthage, New York, who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Laura M. Prievo to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by : her parents, James Hicks and Lillian Hicks; and her brothers, Robert and Norman Hicks. She is survived by : her husband Richard Prievo; her children, Steven Prievo (Georgina Hegney), Kathleen (Jim Clark), Brenda (Richard Cross), Ernest (Cheryl Prievo), Barbara Prievo and Michael (Debra Prievo); and her sister Mary Lou Embrey of Hope Mills. She is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.

Contributions in Laura's name can be made to the Alzheimer's Association, the Carthage Free Library, or the United Community Church.
