With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Leon R. Williams of Carthage, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. In the vast expanse of eternity, Leon shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Leon farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon W. Williams and Beatrice M. Williams (Price); and his siblings, Mary and David. He is survived by: his wife Annette C. Monaghan; and his children, Laurie Crump, Rebecca Williams, Michelle Getman (Chip) and Randy Williams. He is also survived by his nine grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; and a soon-to-be great-great grandchild and the many chosen grandkids and great grandkids.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. (500 State St, Carthage, NY 13619). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
