It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael J. Rivers of Carthage, New York, who passed away on March 3, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Rivers and Wilma Rivers (Covey); his son Michael Rivers Jr.; and his siblings, Nancy Solazzo, Mary Crabbe, Gary Rivers, Thomas Rivers and Charles Rivers.

He is survived by : his granddaughter Ava Rutigliano; and his siblings, Evelyn Rivers, Janet Rivers, Janice Moody, Joanne Sanders (Robert), Christine Montgomery (Bruce) of Carthage, NY and Allan Rivers (Penny). He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in dad's name to Grace Episcopal Church - Carthage, NY or Hospice of Jefferson County.
