Nancy leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her. Nancy’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around her. Though she is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support she offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Nancy will carry forward her memory in their hearts.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Mahlon Lowery and Anne Lowery (Moore). She is survived by: her husband Wayne Staplin of West Carthage; her children, Beth Dunn of Black River, Bonnie Eppolitto of Massachusetts, Karen Staplin of Watertown, Katherine Boutelle (Kevin) of Mexico, NY and Jason Staplin (Jennifer) of Black River; and her siblings, Beverly Hinshaw of Fulton, Marsha Nevills of Tennessee and John Lowery (Mary) of New Hampshire. She is also survived by grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lundy Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Inc. (500 State St, Carthage, NY 13619). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the Chapel of Lundy Funeral Home (500 State St, Carthage, NY 13619). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the Maple Hill Cemetery.
