He was predeceased by : his parents, Carlton Prievo and Helene Prievo (Lena); his wife Laura Mae Hicks; and his siblings, Reginald, Sandra Myers and Patricia Martin.

He is survived by : his children, Steven Prievo (Georgina Hegney), Kathleen (Jim Clark), Brenda (Richard Cross), Ernest (Cheryl Prievo), Barbara Prievo and Michael (Debra Prievo). He is also survived by his sixteen grandchildren, twenty-four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Bezanilla-McGraw Funeral Home (518 State St, Carthage, NY 13619). A prayer was held on Saturday, April 27th 2024 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
