He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Burns and Elizabeth Calmes Burns; and his brother Alan Burns. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Rutherford Burns of Castile; his children, Lisa Schultz (Tim) of Warsaw, NY, Barbra Moens (Tony) of Port St, Brandon Burns (Amanda) of Cape Coral, FL and Jason Burns (Jessica) of Wyoming, NY; his grandchildren, Lauren, Sam, Dylan, Andrew, Noah, Reagan, Hayden, Bryleigh, Brooklyn, Lydie and Christie; and his sisters, Lindley Tepley of Colorado and Sandra Mandzuk of Oregon.
