Irene F. Thompson Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene F. Thompson of Castile, New York, who passed away on August 17, 2025, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Rynkowski and Frances Czaja Rynkowski; her husband Burnett "Speed" Thompson; and her brothers, Fred Rynkowski (Barb) and Danny Rynkowski.
She is survived by: her daughters, Tammy Coveny (Ray) of Castile and Terry Guilford (Alan) of LeRoy; her siblings, Robert Rynkowski (Shirley Harris) of Batavia and Sylvia Post (Junior Baker) of Warsaw; her grandchildren, Shawn Coveny (Cortney) of Pike and Shannon James (Ryan) of Warsaw; her great grandchildren, Blakely Coveny, Bryce Coveny and Wyatt James; and her sister-in-law Eileen Rynkowski of Rochester. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
