It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne E. Purdy of Castile, New York, born in Norwich, New York, who passed away on February 7, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Purdy and Ruth Hogansen Purdy. He is survived by: his wife Linda Chouse Purdy; his children, Eric Purdy of LeRoy, Kelly Purdy Hitchcock (Bryan) of West Falls and Shannon Purdy Alwine (Sam) of Hanover, PA; and his grandchildren, Mary Purdy, Macy Purdy, Hannah Hitchcock, Sydney Hitchcock, Shelby Alwine and Gavin Alwine.

Memorials may be made to the Wyoming County YMCA, 115 Linwood Ave., Warsaw, NY 14569.
