She was predeceased by: her parents, Leah Johnson and Carlton Johnson; and her husband Christopher Ashby. She is survived by: her children, Christopher Jr. (Dixie), Carl (Gretchen) and Chandra Petre (Kevin); her grandchildren, Heather Reimiller (Rich), Jake Ashby (Kristy), Kristen Smith (Drew), Luke Ashby (Katherine), Scott, Aleah and Sara Petre; her great grandchildren, Holden, Elika Ashby, Carson Smith, Gracelynn, Charlie, Ben, Evelyn and George Ashby; and her siblings-in-law, Kitty Murphy (Robert) and Peter Ashby.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Castleton Funeral Home (59 Seaman Ave, Castleton-On-Hudson, NY 12033). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 20th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, October 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Mountain View Cemetery (46 Scott Ave, Castleton-On-Hudson, NY 12033).
