She is survived by: her husband Eric of Hudson, NY; her children, Dan Shyer of Glenville, NY, Maggie Barie (Eric) of Tampa, FL and Kim Antal (Troy) of Hudson, NY; her grandchildren, Josie, Jocelyn, Doug and Cole; and her sisters, Kim Rosado of Germantown, NY, Melissa Levy (Mike) of Red Hook, NY and Coral Howlett of Hudson, NY. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Emmanuel Reformed Church (1150 Maple Hill Rd, Castleton-On-Hudson, NY 12033).
In lieu of flowers, the Shyer family kindly requests that donations be made in Candy's memory to St. Paul's Women's Shelter, an organization close to her heart.
