He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence I. Smith and Cornelia Smith; and his grandsons, William Beck IV and Jeffrey Beck. He is survived by: his wife Pearl Smith; his children, Barbara Beck (William III) and David Smith (Debora); his grandchildren, Shaun Starkweather, Michael Sandor, McKenzie Breunig-Smith and Madison Breunig-Smith; his great grandchildren, Livie, Jonah and Jeffrey Beck; and his brother David Smith (Karen). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home (139 Jefferson Heights, Catskill, NY 12414). A memorial service was held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
