Harold S. Turk Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Harold S. Turk of Catskill, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on August 29, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Turk and Anna Bernstein Turk; and his sisters, Sylvia Spear and Leona Ritter. He is survived by: his spouse Sydelle "Tootie" Turk; his children, Randy Turk (Heidi) of Saugerties and Joni Ryan (Terry); his grandchildren, Kristin Kohler (Eric), Jennifer Van Steenburg, Rachel Weiss (Christopher), Nicole Gee (Joshua) and Joshua Ryan (Kelsey); and his great grandchildren, Aidan, Liam, Riley Overbaugh, Eli James, Eilliette Weiss, Ezra, Judah Gee, Emorie and Benjamin Kohler. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Sunday, August 31st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Millspaugh Camerato Funeral Home (139 Jefferson Heights, Catskill, NY 12414). A funeral service was held on Sunday, August 31st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, August 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Temple Israel Cemetery North Jefferson (37-36 N Jefferson Ave, Catskill, NY 12414).
