He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry C. Wager and Eleanor Wager of Catskill; his wife Vera M. Wager; his siblings, Donald Wager and Gail Mokhiber; and his grandson Joshua Thomas Wager.

He is survived by: his sons, Harry W. Wager, Jr. and Lance Wager (Charlene); and his grandchildren, Elizabeth Wager, Emily Rose (Daeshawn) and Benjamin Wager (Eileen). He is also survived by his great grandchildren.
