She was predeceased by: her parents, Francis Sheeley and Arlene Sheeley (Smith). She is survived by: her husband Roger Ballantine of Catskill; her sisters, Lynn Sheeley of Woodstock and Beth Newton of Woodstock; and her siblings' children, Nicole, Kyle, Troy, Jared and Hunter.
The family suggests donations in memory of Karen be made to a humane society of your choice.
