It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marilyn Eide of Catskill, New York, born in Saugerties, New York, who passed away on April 23, 2026, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Marilyn leaves behind and her impact on the lives of her loved ones. Though Marilyn may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the memories held dear by her family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
She was predeceased by: her father Richard Eide of Texas; and her siblings, Richard, Kenny of Texas, Danny of Saugerties and Virginia of Saugerties.
She is survived by: her mother Margret Eide of Saugerties; her daughter Brenda Lopez (Miguel); her granddaughters, Marisol, Erika and Angelika; and her siblings, Laura of Florida, Patty of Brooklyn, Janet of Saugerties and Martin of Saugerties. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
