It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Calvin W. McVaugh of Cattaraugus, New York, born in Tonawanda, New York, who passed away on March 16, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Kenneth McVaugh and Adeline Tauffner McVaugh; his stepmother Margaret McVaugh; his son Daniel McVaugh; his grandson Brandon Myers; and his siblings, Terry McVaugh, Jay McVaugh, Francis McVaugh, Alice Hanks, Laurie Ground, Mary St Jean, Marjorie Coon and Diane McVaugh.

He is survived by : his wife Judith W. Opferbeck; his children, Timothy McVaugh (Linda Gordon), Deborah Momeyer (James Kendall), Joan Myers (Daniel) and Jonathan McVaugh (Nancy); his grandchildren, Colleen Anthony (Lyle), Errik Gordon (Ana), Kierstyn Gordon, Nicolas Myers (Tera), Jillian Myers, Cassandra Lindquist (Justin), Christina Forbes (Troy), AAren McVaugh and Lilliana McVaugh; his sister Nancy Nottis (Douglas); his nieces, Karen Phillips (Bob) and Maureen Coon; and his nephew Merritt Hanks (Frances).

In lieu of flowers the family requests any donations to be made to the Immanuel Lutheran Church.
