Irene Lenora Chaffee Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 19, 2025, at the age of 98, Irene Lenora Chaffee in Cayuga, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George Baker and Marion Baker (Thomas); her husband Wilfred "Wil" Chaffee; her sisters, Edith Waugh and Helen Baker; and her son-in-law Terrence Snedeker.
She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Snedeker and Craig Chaffee (Kathy); her grandchildren, Benjamin Snedeker (Sarah), Sarah Sears (John), Jordan Snedeker (Rachel), Rachael Chaffee and Elisha Chaffee; her great grandchildren, Julia, Owen, Wilfred Snedeker, Eden, Emory, Elise, Ethan Sears, Lincoln, Elianna, Josephine Snedeker and Oliver Chaffee; and her sister Joyce Eisenhut. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the West Hill Community Church (3049 Van Dorn Corners Rd, Ithaca, NY 14850).
