With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Kathleen M. Ryan of Cazenovia, New York, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Kathleen left this world on January 16, 2026 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Burns and Martha Burns; her siblings, Joseph, William, Mary and Martha; and her great grandchild Malcolm.
She is survived by: her husband William D. Ryan; her children, William J. Ryan (Juanita), Colleen Majka (Andrew), Michelle Dorman (Michael) and Kathryn Dolan (Neal); her grandchildren, Ryan, Erin, Eric, Mary Katherine, Claire, Meghan, Jeffrey, Molly, Owen, Grace, Natalie and Caitlin; her great grandchildren, Jaxon and Ana; her aunt Jean; and her caregivers, Trish, Cindy, Sonia, Victoria, Sheila, Lynne and Taisha. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 22nd 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Michael E. Brown Funeral Services (2333 Fenner Rd, Cazenovia, NY 13035). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 23rd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. James Church (6 Green St, Cazenovia, NY 13035). A burial was held on Friday, January 23rd 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Calvary Cemetery (501 Fairview St, Johnson City, NY 13790).
