With sadness, we share the passing of Ruth W. Gifford of Cazenovia, New York. Ruth, born on November 8, 1939, passed away on June 27, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Family, friends, and acquaintances remember Ruth for her warmth, thoughtfulness, and the moments shared together. While she will be deeply missed, the influence she had on the lives around her remains. Loved ones will reflect on the time spent together. She was predeceased by: her former husband Norman Gifford; her daughter Rebecca Valentino; and her daughter-in-law Lisa Gifford. She is survived by: her husband Dean W. Bender of Cazenovia; and her children, Rick Gifford (Sharon) of Cazenovia, Rodney Gifford (Lori) of Manlius and Debra Richer (John) of Cazenovia. She is also survived by three brothers; one sister; 10 grandchildren; five great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews.
