Jean Amachee Obituary

We announce the death of Jean Amachee (Center Moriches, New York), who passed away on September 6, 2026, at the age of 70. Jean will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Latchminea Amachee and Galton Amachee; and her brother Wilfred. She is survived by: her sons, Navin and Calvin; her grandchildren, Ryan, Crystal, Kevin, Junior, Justin and Sonia; her great grandchild Amina; and her siblings, David, Charles, Samuel, Emanuel, Neville and Lynette. She is also survived by brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family members, and friends.

Visitation was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Bergen Funeral Service - 101st Avenue (102-17 101st Ave, Ozone Park, NY 11416). A funeral service was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Mount Pleasant Cemetery (41 Main St, Center Moriches, NY 11934).
