Conroy (Centereach, New York), born in Jamaica, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2024 at the age of 78. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Lillian Conroy (Beiser) and James Conroy; his siblings, June McAllister (Joseph), Doris Coacci (Luca), James, Sonny (Marie), Dennis and Ronald (Peggy) of Brentwood, NY.; his stepsons, Mark and Lee; his caregivers, Luise and Cheryl; and his children, Lisa Eckland (Thad), Kim Davis (Steve) of Lebanon, TN, Kelly Villanueva (Jason) of Chandler, AZ, Glenn J. Conroy Jr. (G. J.) of Manorville, NY and Jaclyn McManus (Mike) of Farmingville, NY. He was also cherished by 19 grandchildren.
However, around 2020, as the world struggled with COVID, Glenn began showing signs of dementia and was ultimately diagnosed with Alzheimer's, requiring more direct care.
