He was predeceased by : his parents, Lloyd Meter and Martha Van Meter; and his siblings, Elizabeth, Richard, Robert of Burke Virginia, William of Ava Missouri, James of Central Square, NY and Laura.

He is survived by : his close friend Bill Farrel (Jodi Wiedenbeck).

Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the Sears Middleton Mathewson Funeral Home (209 N Main St, North Syracuse, NY 13212). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 4:30 PM at the same location.
