It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Emily McPherson of Central Square, New York, who passed away on July 5, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Vaughn R. McPherson; her daughter Elaine; her siblings, Michael Nasypany, Mary Malinchak (Andy), Jean Mayton (Marty), Peter Nasypany (Helen), John Nasypany (Patricia), George Nasypany (Beatrice) and Paul Nasypany (Frances); and her parents-in-law, Vernon MacPherson (Emily), Duane McPherson (Judy), Phyllis Nasypany, Glenn McPherson, Dale McPherson and Louis Sheffield.

She is survived by : her children, Sandra Crawford (David), Scott McPherson (Karen) and Paul McPherson (Lisa); her grandchildren, Trevor, Liah, Joseph, Benjamin, Jadyn, Carolyn, Michael, Abigail and Evan; her brothers, Raymond Nasypany (Shiuvaun) and Joseph Nasypany (Betty); and her sisters-in-law, Donna Sheffield and Delores McPherson. She is also survived by family, an enormous extended family, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Mary's Ukrainian Orthodox Church or St. Jude's Children's Hospital in memory of Emily.
