He was predeceased by: his father Ronald C Shaffer; his grandfather William Heeter (Bill); and his mother-in-law Carol Haynes (Rowlee). He is survived by: his mother Sandra Shaffer (Heeter); his wife Jennifer; his grandchildren, Brynlee Soulier and Lochlan Davoren; his grandmother Allene Heeter; his siblings, Jason Shaffer (Angela) and Jamie White; his father-in-law Richard Haynes, Sr.; his nieces and nephews, Kylie, Braydon, Ryker Shaffer and Cameron White; and also, Jonathan Shaffer Jr. (Kayla), Chelsie Davoren (Aidan), Amber Shaffer Kayliann Shaffer (C. J. Soulier), Hunter Shaffer and Lily Shaffer. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters-in-law.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, May 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Monday, May 19th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Hile-Best Funeral Home - Seneca (2781 PA-257, Seneca, PA 16346).
