He is survived by: his wife Anna Kowanes of Mary's Church; his children, Bonnie Ruettermann of Port St, Robert "Bobby" Kowanes Jr. of Booneville, NY, Michele Tipper (Juan) of Quincy, FL, Arlene Wilson (Bill) of Syracuse, NY and Amanda Carrick (Shane) of Cleveland, NY; his brother Frederick Kowanes (Judy) of Cleveland, NY; and his grandchildren, Mike Taber, Joey Ruettermann, Justin Tipper, Stephanie Lyons, Grayson Smith, Tyler Wilson, Madison Wilson, Mike Kowanes and Garrett Carnick. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
