He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Anthony Olivo and Roberta Olivo; his wife Elizabeth Olivo; his children, Erin and Craig Olivo; and his grandchildren, Sydney, Ian and Grady. He was also cherished by his family, friends.
In 2010, he received the Mid-Hudson School Study Council and SUNY New Paltz Educational Leadership Award in recognition of his outstanding contributions to education.
