He was predeceased by: his brother George Shephard; and his stepfather Maurice McGurk. He is survived by: his close friend Debra Ann Stickler; his children, Donna Marie Shephard Schneider, David Roger Shephard, Jr., Kara Ann Ziegler, James William Shephard, Tyler Shephard and Christina Shephard; his siblings, Missy Hart, Donald, William and Michael Shephard; and his close friend Julian Burnett.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Smith Funeral Home (3022 Oneida St, Sauquoit, NY 13456). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
