We announce the death of Duane Pierce of Chaffee, New York, who passed away on September 7, 2026, at the age of 85. Duane will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Albert Pierce and Olga Pierce (Neamon); his wife Sally Pierce (Illerbrun); his children, Dean Pierce (Brenda) of Freedom, Sean Pierce of Texas, Eric Pierce of Sardinia, Alicia Howell (Matt) of Cowlesville and Tammy Rickard of Yorkshire; his grandchildren, Melanthe, Thane, Kade, Knox, Zadok, Liberty Howell, Cassandra Gillis, Thomas Bluminstein, Colin Pierce, Aubre Murphy, Ainsleigh Pierce and Amber Pierce; and his siblings, Dale Pierce of Sardinia, Diane Pierce of Turkey and Denise Pierce of Buffalo. He was also cherished by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Elton Baptist Church (10327 Marble Springs Rd, Delevan, NY 14042). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
