It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Steven J. Smith of Chaffee, New York, born in Buffalo, New York, who passed away on March 5, 2023, at the age of 67, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Hugh Smith and Lois Smith (Bateman); and his brother Jeffrey Smith. He is survived by : his wife Susan Smith (Hunt); his children, Brett Smith (Tanya) of Yorkshire and Ronda Byroads (Timothy) of Machias; his brothers, Bradley Smith (Cindy) of Delevan and Rusty Smith of Freedom; his grandchildren, Tyler, Trevor, Takota, Trey Smith and James Byroads; and his sister-in-law Alice Smith of Chaffee. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
