He is survived by: his parents, Bruce West and Jane West (Bechard); his brother Adam; his sister-in-law Gretchen West; his sibling's children, Emily (Carter) and Benjamin; and his friend Monique Bedard. He is also survived by extended family and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the R. W. Walker Funeral Home (69 Court St, Plattsburgh, NY 12901). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary’s Church (86 Church St, Champlain, NY 12919).
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations in Jared's memory be made to the Advocacy and Resource Center in Plattsburgh.
