He is survived by: his parents, David L. Sexton Jr. and Anne Tracy (Butterworth); his stepfather Richard Tracy of Chateaugay; and his brothers, David of Colorado, Thomas of Virginia, Peter of Pennsylvania, Daniel of Chateaugay and Joseph of Chateaugay. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Donations in his memory may be made to the Chateaugay Memorial Library.
