He was loved and cherished by many people including: parents: Roger and Hilda "Dedee" (Poupore) Cayea; wife: Lori Jarvis; brother: Gary (Joyce Thyrring); niece: Alicia Steele (Mason); brothers-in-law: Dickey (Julie) Jarvis and Mickey (Sarah) Jarvis; sisters-in-law: Becky (Terry) Cook and Cindy Cook; great nieces and nephews: Michael, Cassie, and Alliyah Eastman, and Ty Cayea; and a host of cousins, aunts, uncles and friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Chateaugay Funeral Home (36 Church St, Chateaugay, NY 12920). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Patrick's Church (132 W Main St, Chateaugay, NY 12920).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael's memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
