Anita J. Bell Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 25, 2025, at the age of 82, Anita J. Bell (Chatham, New York) passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Anita J. Bell to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Malcolm Smalley and Cecilia Smalley (Gardner); her siblings, Jean Speer (Smalley) and Malcolm George "Butch" Smalley (Karen Jane Forgham); and her son James Richard Bell.
She is survived by: her husband John J. Bell; her children, John R. Bell (Susan) and Jean Eileen Languish (David N. Languish) of Delmar; her friend Pam Dunavin (Doug) of East Chatham; her grandchildren, Matthew Bell, Kevin Bell, Casey Languish, Steven Bell, Rebecca Languish and Hannah Bell Perlberg; and her great grandchildren, Burke Bell, Madison Bell, Reagan Bell and Micah Bell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in honor of Anita's late son, Jim, who passed from pancreatic cancer.
