She was predeceased by : her husband Frederick Freidel; and her brother Paul McCagg of Chatham. She is survived by : her grandchildren, Riley and Grayson of East Greenbush; her brothers, Harvey McCagg of Stottville and Ralph McCagg of Valatie; her nephew Michael McCagg of Greenport; her nieces, Amy and Melissa McCagg of Boston; and her son Geoffrey Freidel.
