He is survived by : his sons, Stephen and Donald (Sharon); and his stepsons, Joseph Benziger (Pam), James Benziger (Deb) and Edward Benziger.

In lieu of flowers memorials in his memory may be made to the Spencertown Volunteer Fire Company, 1 Memorial Drive Spencertown, NY 121165.
