He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester McKay Sr. and Catherine McKay (Wood); his wife Linda; his brother Peter McKay, Sr.; and his sisters-in-law, Sarah McKay and Pamela McKay.
He is survived by: his daughter Laura Lynde (Todd); his granddaughters, Kylien Lynde and Jacquelyn Lynde; his great grandchild Camdyn Evans; and his brothers, Lester McKay, Sr. (Carol) and Dennis McKay, Sr.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
