It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Reta M. Mussot of Chaumont, New York, who passed away on June 10, 2025, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Reta had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Reta may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Mussot and Edith Mussot (Bourcy); her siblings, Marie Emery (Floyd), Francis "Frank" Mussot and Donald Mussot; and her brother-in-law Gary Heilman.
She is survived by: her sister Carol Heilman of Calcium, NY; and her sisters-in-law, Marlene Mussot of Chaumont, NY and Patricia Mussot of Rosiere, NY. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as great-nieces and great-nephews, and her caregiver.
A funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St Vincent de Paul Rosiere Church (31385 County Rte 4, Cape Vincent, NY 13618).
Donations in Reta's memory may be made to the Catholic Community of Cape Vincent, Rosiere, and Chaumont or the Cape Vincent Fire Department.
