Ruby Hughes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 17, 2025, at the age of 91, Ruby Hughes of Chazy, New York passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Doris Wilson and Earnest Wilson; her daughter Kim Sykora; her husband Howard D. Hughes; her son-in-law James Champagne; and her granddaughter Meagan Giroux.
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Anderson (David), Kathy Trahan (Mark), Karla Seymour (Edmund) and Kristie Wetzel (Dan Schutzman); her grandchildren, Lindsay Grindle, Bailey Monty (Vincent) and Ryan Seymour; and her great grandchild Harlan Monty.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mooers Wesleyan Church (149 Maple St, Mooers, NY 12958). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 20th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers , donations in her memory may be made to The Mooers Wesleyan Church or the SPCA in Peru NY.
