As Alice departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Alice. Though Alice may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph Genco; and her sister Patricia Kruse (Fred). She is survived by: her daughter Denise Spence (Brian); her grandchildren, Michael and Jessica Spence; and her sister Wendy Amoia (late Ralph). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Amherst Chapel (5200 Sheridan Dr, Amherst, NY 14221). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 11:15 AM at the Mt. Calvary Cemetery (800 Pine Ridge Heritage Blvd, Cheektowaga, NY 14225).
