He was predeceased by: his son Michael J. Delzer; his nephew Nicholas Koscielniak; Christine DeArmond (late Jack), Irene Dumond (late David) and Barbara Benker (Dan Price).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Delzer; his siblings, Diane Airey (Donald), Lori Koscielniak, Mary Ball (Dennis) and William Delzer; his brother-in-law John Graczyk (Janice); and his nieces and nephews, Amanda Benker (Jeremy Barber), Aimee Pawlak (Jeffrey), Stacy Picard (Ken), Jeffrey Graczyk, Jennifer Graczyk-Mancino, Leanne Menge (Mike), Kristen Uhl, Danielle Koscielniak, Ryan Ball (Brittany) and Stacy Hollander (Dan).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 24th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Genesee Chapel (3645 Genesee St, Cheektowaga, NY 14225). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Our Lady Help of Christians Chapel (4125 Union Rd, Buffalo, NY 14225). A burial was held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:45 PM at the Our Lady Help of Christians Cemetery (4125 Union Rd, Buffalo, NY 14225).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the SPCA Serving Erie County, 300 Harlem Rd., West Seneca, NY 14224.
