He was predeceased by: his father Ronald Nowaczewski; and his father-in-law John Krasuski. He is survived by: his wife Charlene Nowaczewski; his children, James S. Nowaczewski (Kelly), Stephen Nowaczewski (Veronica) and Jennifer Marquart (Ben); his grandchildren, Micah, Joseph and Noah; his mother Mary Ann Nowaczewski; his siblings, Ronald Nowaczewski and Joeleene Manhardt (Jeffrey); his mother-in-law Patricia; and his sisters-in-law, Anne Marie Gifford (Gregory) and Jennifer Krasuski. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Daniel R. Smolarek Funeral Home - Cheektowaga (2510 Union Rd, Cheektowaga, NY 14227). A prayer was held on Friday, December 5th 2025 at 6:45 PM at the same location.
Donations may be made in Jim's name to St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
