We announce the death of Mary F. Pitrelli (Cheektowaga, New York), who passed away on October 9, 2026, at the age of 101. Mary will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Mary will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Mary’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her spouse Thomas N. Pitrelli; her children, Marie Gutschow (William) and Carmelyn Cole; her grandchildren, Danielle Gutschow, Marc Venture (Amy), Eric Jahn (Heather), Brian Gutschow (Jen), Ben Cole (Denine) and Jay Cole; and her son-in-law Randolph Cole. She was also cherished by six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Cleveland Hill Chapel (569 Cleveland Dr, Cheektowaga, NY 14225). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Prague Church (921 Cleveland Dr, Cheektowaga, NY 14225). A burial will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery (3063 Harlem Rd, Buffalo, NY 14225).
