He was predeceased by: his wife Mary J. Harvey; his daughter Nanette; and his granddaughter Dawn. He is survived by: his children, Richard Jr. (Dawn), Alice (late Robert) and Jerome (late Sheryl); his grandchildren, Richard III (Tara), Christina (Peter), Jeremy (Sarah), Julia (Andrew), Sean (Amy), Jacob (Lauren) and Jeffrey; and his close friend Jeanne Vollmer. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice Buffalo Inc. or UB Athletics.
