He was predeceased by : his wives, Frances Lis and Mary Lis; his parents, Kazimerz Lis and Julia Lis; and his siblings, Julia Seiler (late Francis), William Lis (late Betty), Mary Ussary (late Lloyd) and Dorothy Wrzos (late Samuel).
He is survived by : his children, Robert G. Lis (late Donna), Deborah Ruthenberg (Donald), Nancy Borawski (Timothy Clements), Susan Keating (Joseph), James Lis, Michael Szafranski, Dan Borawski and Max Kline (Jessica); and his stepchildren, Jeffrey Balz (Marie Wagner), Deborah Balz (Susan Davenport) and Richard Balz. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
