He is survived by: his wife Diane Penna; his child Lenny Penna; his stepchildren, Brian Hauser, Jenny Hauser and Patrick Hauser (Chelsea); his grandchildren, Dominic, Olivia, Madia, Brady, Cal, Morgan, Shane, Griffin and Wyatt; and his brothers, Michael (Janet), Leonard (Judy), Larry (Patti) and John. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Daniel R. Smolarek Funeral Home - Cheektowaga (2510 Union Rd, Cheektowaga, NY 14227). A prayer will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 6:45 PM at the Daniel R. Smolarek Funeral Home (2510 Union Rd, Cheektowaga, NY 14227). The military honors will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 at 7:00 PM at the Daniel R. Smolarek Funeral Home - Cheektowaga (2510 Union Rd, Cheektowaga, NY 14227).
