She was predeceased by : her parents, Francisco Arroyo and Rafaela Arroyo; her siblings, Mary Torres, Sarah Brown, Gloria Arroyo and Tony Arroyo; and her daughter Maria Marrero.

She is survived by : her siblings, Gregory Arroyo and Stella Barbosa; and her sons, Carlos Marrero, Joseph Marrero (Carmen Marrero), Gilbert Marrero (Joann), Albert Marrero, Eric Marrero (Beverly Marrero) and Gregory Marrero (Marisol Figueroa). She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
