He was predeceased by: his parents, Warren J Rathbun and Ada L Griggs Rathbun. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Peter Rathbun, Susan Schaffer (Gary), Douglas Rathbun (Cathy), Theresa Duesler (Rick) and Jeanne Macek (Jeff); his grandchildren, Geoffrey Schaffer (Lisa), Scott Rathbun (Allison Jodway), Samantha Kline (Tom), Corey Duesler (Lindsey), Alexandra Roberts (Andrew), Benjamin Macek (Ashley) and Kelly Dutcher; and his great grandchildren, Jude Rathbun, Charlotte Rathbun, Lucas Kline, Natalie Kline, Sebella Schaffer, Max Duesler, Leah Duesler, Chloe Duesler, Henry Roberts, Paisley Macek, Mason Schecter and Benny Schecter.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Middlefield Baptist Church (121 Rezen Rd, Roseboom, NY 13405). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
