He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia Emma Walton Weidman and Francis Guy Weidman; his brother Richard Guy Weidman; and his sister-in-law Betsy Boorn Weidman. He is survived by: his niece Bonny Deflandre; his nephew Timothy Weidman (Hope); his great-nephew William Weidman (Jennifer); Liam and Connor Weidman.
Following his military service, he devoted his professional life to healthcare at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown, New York, where he established the Inhalation Therapy Department, leaving a lasting contribution to patient care and respiratory services.
