It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul Edward Stoddard of Chester, New York, who passed away on November 2, 2025, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Paul farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Paul is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his brother Daniel Webster Stoddard. He is survived by: his parents, Edward John Stoddard (Spartanburg) and Norma Schenke Stoddard (Spartanburg); his siblings, David Stoddard, Pam Stoddard (North Carolina), Debbie Stoddard Murray (South Carolina) and Meredith Murray; his sister-in-law Cinda Barnett Stoddard Rose; his siblings' children, Maxwell Blake Stoddard (Utah) and Kelsey Rose (Utah); and his goddaughters, Caroline Cimorelli and Katie Cimorelli Mooney of Cary, NC. He is also survived by many Aunts, Uncles, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers, Inc. (3 Hudson St, Chester, NY 10918). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
